Financial assistance for neighbors facing cancer.

If you live in Montgomery County, Illinois, and have been diagnosed with cancer, MCCA offers limited financial assistance to help with everyday expenses and medical costs.

 
Support when you need it
 
Beginning January 1, 2026, eligible patients who complete the program requirements are allotted $4,000 in financial assistance, plus mileage assistance for travel to and from medical appointments.
 
Financial assistance can help with expenses such as:

• Rent or mortgage payments

• Utility bills

• Medical bills

 

Who can apply?

To qualify for assistance, you must provide:

• Proof of at least one year of permanent residence in Montgomery County, Illinois.

• A written order from your attending physician confirming your cancer diagnosis.

• A completed MCCA application.
